Notes: The dwarf erythrina attains a height of up to 3 m at best, but is usually about 1 m high. In summer to early autumn it bears flowers whose colour is striking; each bloom contains shades of yellow and green, but the whole is predominently a flaming red. A deciduous shrub rather than a tree.
