Notes : Genus of about 80 species. Fast growing, low, bushy perennial. Bears blue daisy-like flowers with bright yellow centres on long stalks from Spring to Autumn. The foliage is aromatic. In the warmer parts of the country the plant will bloom for most of the year. Use as an edging to a border or mass plant to form a groundcover. Also grows well in a rockery.
Not fussy about soil, but it must be well-drained. Water well throughout the year. Will tolerate light shade, but prefers full sun. Cut back after flowering to keep neat and encourage another flush of flowers. Propagate from seed sown in March or April or from cuttings.
