Notes : An indigenous, bushy evergreen shrub which bears white, cup-shaped flowers with dark red throat markings in summer, followed by ribbed, leathery fruit.
Best suited to the warmer parts of the country, but will grow in regions with moderate frost if planted to a sheltered position. Needs regular watering in dry regions. Water well in summer in the winter rainfall region. Not suited to dry areas or areas with severe frost.
